Logan & Redland City Chamber of Commerce Golf Day 2011

The combined chambers golf day is fast approaching scheduled on Friday, 26 August 2011. The early bird price of $400 per team finishes on 31 July 2011 so if you are keen to have a hit at the wonderful Carbrook Golf Club, please email Aaron on aaron@redlandbaygolf.com.au to lock in your team.
From 1 August, the price will be $480 per team or $130 per person for an individual player!

SEQ CUP 2012

RBGC has joined forces with Carbrook Golf Club and Gainsborough Greens to initiate a new event to our golfing calendar. The SEQ Cup event will be a 54 hole event across the 3 courses with fantastic prizes up for grabs and has been scheduled to take place 15 - 17 February 2012.

Wednesday, 15 February - 1st Rnd Gainsborough Greens
Thursday, 16 February - 2nd Rnd Carbrook Golf Club
Friday, 17 February 2012 - Final Rnd Redland Bay Golf Club

Cost - $69.00 per person which includes the 3 games of golf and a burger on the Friday to coincide with the presentation.

I will advise on further details as to how you can register for this event but I recommend that you book fast as the spots will fill fast!

Due to the popularity of the 1st RBGC Golf Improvers Club and feedback received about activities of this nature, Redland Bay Golf Club would like to offer this activity to RBGC golfing members with handicaps between 18 to 27 inclusive that want to improve their current game to participate in the RBGC Golf Improvers Club on Friday, 26 August 2011 (Perfect timing for the 2nd Rnd of the Club Championship). The return serve event between Redland Bay & Carbrook Golf Clubs called Battle of the Bay - Redland Bay GC v's Carbrook GC, is scheduled for Friday, 14 October 2011. Which club will reign supreme?

Round 2 - Friday 14 October – @ Redland Bay GC – 8:30am SHOTGUN
$25 per person (Inc: burger before game, finger food post game and competition fee)
2 players from each club per group (single stableford medley (men and women))
RBGC members can book online for this event on the RBGC website (as per a normal competition) or call the Redland Bay GC office on 3206 7011 to book your spot.

Be considerate of other players on course

No Disturbance or Distraction

Players should always show consideration for other players on the course and should not disturb their play by moving, talking or making any unnecessary noise.

Players should ensure that any electronic device taken onto the course does not distract other players.

On the teeing ground, a player should not tee his ball until it is his turn to play.

Players should not stand close to or directly behind the ball, or directly behind the hole, when a player is about to play.
