Parma Night & Monster Meat Tray Raffle Night last night

Last Friday night saw the first of RBGC's MONSTER MEAT TRAY RAFFLE NIGHT associated with "BIG FRIDAY PARMA" night and our RBGC Members Birthday Dinner. It was a packed house with over 200 people attending. There were many large meat trays up for grabs along with other prizes and congratulations to all the winners. As this night was such a success, the club will hold an event of this nature each month. A huge thank you to all the club members and guests that supported the night and a special 'Happy Birthday' to those members celebrating their birthday this month and watch our regular emails for details on the next "Big Friday Parma & Monster Meat Tray Raffle Night".

Wedding Gazebo coming to RBGC

Today, we will see the delivery of the clubs new 5 meter wide wedding gazebo that will be constructed below the club house deck. This gazebo will not only improve our current wedding facilities but also provide a secluded/romantic/private area for members to have dinner parties etc at the club. Packages for these functions will be available soon for perusal. The gazebo will look similar to the picture below.

On Sunday, 26 February 2012 from 11.30 to 2.30pm, we are hosting a BBQ on the deck with relaxing live music from Scott Sinclair. The BBQ offerings are 300g porterhouse steak or chicken breast fillet served with a range of salads - $16.90 per person.

RBGC Ladies Toilet Refurbishment

A refurbishment of the RBGC the ladies toilet facilities has commenced this morning (Wednesday, 22 Feb 2012). It is expected to take approximately 3 weeks to complete so a temporary toilet block has been positioned at the back of the building (behind the ladies toilets) for the ladies to utilise to hopefully cause the least disruption possible. Sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause.

Big Friday Parma Night & Monster Meat Tray Raffles - This Friday

THIS FRIDAY NIGHT - Due to the massive success of the recent "BIG FRIDAY PARMA" night, we are holding another on Friday, 24 February 2012 where you can get a tender homemade chicken parma with your choice of topping with 8 different toppings to choose from. Bookings are recommended on (07) 3206 7011.

On the night, we will also be holding our first MONSTER MEAT TRAY RAFFLE NIGHT with 6 huge meat trays up for grabs plus other prizes. Tickets will be available on the night from 5pm at reception. There will be 2 draws during the night, one at 6.30pm (2 trays plus other prizes) and the second draw at 8.00pm (4 trays plus other prizes)

NRL Footy Tipping for 2012

This year, the RBGC is joining forces with the Redlands RSL to have a bigger NRL Footy Tipping Competition for 2012. Cost is $50p/p for the season and there are 112 spots available. The winner will pocket - $3000, 2nd - $1500 & 3rd - $500. There will also be a mid year party at RBGC and an end of year party at Redlands RSL. Please call the office on 32067011 to book your spot!

Division 1 Pennants v Windaroo 18 Feb 2012

Today was hot, how hot, Stinken hot. Windaroo boys got us 2day, Boys battled hard, most the matches going to the last hole.  Early, Redlandbay were up and playing solid, but the turn at Windaroo played into the locals hands and course knowledge came into play. Windaroo GC 4 Redlandbay GC 3 Highlites = Ball, Rob, Dane had great wins. Yours Dieter Moeckel

RBGC Division 1 Pennants Update

The Division 1 Pennants Team lead by Captain Dieter Moeckel has had success at their first 2 outings of the pennants season. They have had strong wins over Carbrook GC (5 - 2) & Logan GC (51/2 - 1/1/2).

This weekend, they travel to Windaroo to taken them on. This will be a hard fought match as both teams are coming off 2 wins. Good luck boys!
