With a broad range of decoration packages to suit all budgets, so you can rest assured that your day will be one to remember.

Testimonial:
"To the Redland Bay Golf Club. I just wanted to say a huge thank you for everything you did for Terry and I. We had an absolute wonderful day and night and are so happy we chose the Redland Bay Golf Club to be Married at. The golf club grounds and Reception room was absolutely beautiful and thank you for everything you did and to all the lovely staff who assisted you. Once again thank you so much for making our day so special".
Renee and Terry Simpson.

Success & Failure

One of the critical skills for ongoing success is the ability to bounce back from adversity - things that may not work.  Sooner or later in life everyone experiences failure, disappointment, setbacks or loses the desire to keep on keeping on.  Success and failure are neutral concepts.  What makes either of them positive or negative in your life is not the event, circumstance or situation, but what you do with them along the path of life.  No one that I have ever met has had a life filled with nothing but failure or only one success after another.  Resilience is your ability to keep coming back, again and again and again - no matter what!

Redland Bay Golf Club President's Blog

Welcome to all members and non members who have started to follow the Club's activities on Facebook or Twitter. This is the way of the future and brings the communications of the Club into the 21st century, to the younger set. It is yet another avenue for the Club to keep all  informed of what is happening at the Club both for golfing and social activities.

Although we have suffered from the continuous rain prior to Christmas, which affected us both financially and reduced our Clubhouse activity, the Club has bounced back with renewed enthusiasm for golf and, if you read the previous blogs, a lot more activity socially around and within the Clubhouse. If you have not been here recently, come down and enjoy fine food, entertainment as advertised, and take in the cordial environment with great views of the golf course.

Members are reminded that the Special General Meeting being held on Tuesday, 5 April is an opportunity to hear how the Club is successfully turning around financially from what has been a lean first six months financially ( because of rain)  and what the Board and Management is doing to promote the Club to all  members, their guests and visitors.

RBGC RECEIVES PRESTIGIOUS AWARD

The Annual Queensland PGA Awards were held on Tuesday night at the Sebel Hotel in Brisbane where the Qld golf body recognises excellence across this industry. For the second time in 3 years, the Redland Bay Golf Club was awarded the prestigious award of Queensland PGA Metropolitan Golf Club of the Year for 2010. Redland Bay was chosen from a large number of clubs across Qld and was judged on the following:
  • Financial performance in 2010 (Up to and including December 2010)
  • Competition numbers across all areas
  • Club house operation and performance
  • Activities offered to members and guests to the club
  • Mystery shopping results based on service provided to members and guests
  • Function activity
  • Membership retention
This award is really a REDLAND BAY MEMBERS AWARD as without the continual support of our members, even in this worldwide financial downturn, this club would not be in the strong position that it is currently in. The club and members were also recognised for the wonderful support that it has given to flood affected clubs in our district.
